Cookie policy

This policy explains which cookies and browser storage posmi.app and the panel at panel.posmi.app use, what for, how long they last and how you can change your choice. It complements the Privacy policy.
What they are
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. Local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage) do a similar job but are not sent to the server. In this policy we call all of them "cookies".
Your choice and how to change it
Necessary cookies work without asking you, because the site or the panel cannot work without them, or because you trigger them yourself by using a feature (for example, signing in). Google Analytics (analytics) and the Meta pixel (marketing) are active from your first visit and you can turn them off by rejecting optional cookies or in the settings.
On your first visit we show a notice so you can choose. We keep your choice for 90 days in the posmi_consent cookie (with a copy in local storage): after that period, or if we change the cookie categories, we ask again.
You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. If you turn a category off, we stop using those tools and delete their cookies from our domain.

Third-party cookies
When you pay for a module, the Dodo Payments checkout opens on its own pages and may use its own cookies under its own policy. Each restaurant's digital menu may store data in your browser to work, such as the cart or the language.
How to delete or block them
Besides this site's cookie settings, you can delete or block cookies and storage in your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, the cookie notice will appear on every visit and you will have to sign in again to the QR generator and the panel.
